Tara Field
Business Development Manager / Treatment Coordinator
Tara is both our Business Development Manager and Treatment Coordinator here at Eden Orthodontics. She has many years’ experience in account management, marketing, sales and customer service.
Tara has been working with Dr Smith since the inception of Eden Orthodontics and is loving spending time in the practice: meeting and building relationships with our patients and suppliers and of course seeing new smiles being created.
Tara lives locally in Mt Eden with her 2 children and her dog Bailey who you might meet in the practice from time to time. Outside of work, if she’s not powering up the mountain, she’s spending time on her yoga mat.
Jennifer McLean
Clinic Team Leader / Orthodontic Auxiliary
While Jenn is Australian born and bred she now calls Auckland home and shares her life here with her Kiwi man. Jennifer has been in orthodontics since 2012 and has been part of Dr Smith’s dream team since 2015. Jenn qualified as an Orthodontic Auxiliary in 2019 and now leads our clinical team.
When Jenn is not in the practice, you will find her enjoying a cup of coffee, listening to music, lifting weights or planning her next trip around the world (virtually at the moment of course!).
Stacey-Lee Logan
Orthodontic Auxiliary
Originally from Zimbabwe but really a Kiwi girl, Stacey joined the team in 2019 from Ponsonby Children’s Dental Service. She spent 5 years there and has just completed her Dental Assistant training. We are thrilled to have her here to support our Auxiliaries and Rachel and to develop further professionally.
Stacey is our environmental champion encouraging us to reduce, reuse or recycle at home and at work! You may also find her SUP-ing in St Heliers, or at the gym keeping strong. She has 2 beautiful dogs, Ice and Noodles who keep her busy and entertained at home.
Bailey Field
Director of Office Morale
Bailey is the Director of office morale at Eden Orthodontics and she takes her job very seriously. She has a wide range or responsibilities including testing various chairs and stools for napping quality, squishing the cushions to make them really comfortable, looking cute and making people smile.
Bailey ensures a stress-free environment by offering her belly up for a rub at every possible moment.
On the weekend, Bailey’s hobbies include long walks in the park, eating anything and everything she can find (including aligners!!!) sniffing anything and everything and napping anywhere and everywhere.
Make sure you say hi next time you spot Bailey practicing being a dog!
Tymara Chamberlain
Orthodontic Assistant
Tymara has always had a keen interest in the Orthodontic industry and is very excited to be part of the Eden Orthodontics team! Having had braces herself, Tymara knows the journey first-hand so can relate with our patients and parents alike. She brings a cheeky smile, lots of laughter and a can-do attitude with her to work every day.
When Tymara’s not navigating her way through chairside assisting or creating the perfect trays in the sterilisation room at the practice, she loves spending time with her family. She has nieces and nephews to spoil and sisters to provide support and care.
Tymara lives out west with her partner in crime, Toast the cat! And if she’s not waiting patiently for her next online parcel to arrive, she’ll be bottomless brunching with friends!
Ayla Robinson
Orthodontic Assistant
After coming for a consult at Eden Orthodontics to begin her aligner treatment Ayla was asked if she would like to apply to work here at the end of her school year. And she has been here ever since!
Ayla has first-hand experience with what it is like to have attachments on her teeth, wear aligners and juggle a busy work environment!
When Ayla isn’t at the practice, she’s out exploring New Zealand beaches. She has been lucky enough to travel to Australia often, to venture into Europe too and she hopes to be able to do more travelling as the opportunity arises.
Angela Waugh
Business Administrator
Originally from Warkworth, Angela is all things business with a spot of humour thrown in!
Angela has brought with her many years’ experience in corporate finance, as well as her bubbly personality and a can-do attitude, making her a great addition to the Eden Orthodontics family.
Angela was drawn to the role because of the cohesive team environment where she can add value by looking at business process improvement through reporting and analysis. Having a part time role out of a large corporate enables a better work/life balance.
When Angela isn’t chasing after her two boys, she is baking for the GBB charity who deliver baked goods to the community. She takes some time for herself by doing reformer Pilates or holidaying in Mt Maunganui at the family bach.
Georgia Cassidy
Treatment Coordinator / Receptionist
Meet Georgia, your friendly face at Reception!
Coming from various people-oriented careers, such as owning her own Nail Studio and, more recently, traveling the globe as a Long Haul Flight Attendant, Georgia was ready to plant her feet again and tackle a new challenge. While new to the Orthodontics world, Georgia is embracing this challenge with enthusiasm and a keen fascination for the industry!
Beyond the front desk, Georgia’s a sucker for a good movie or TV series she can binge, enjoys cosy nights in (and the occasional night out exploring the latest cocktail bars) with her best friends, and cherishes quality time with family.
Keep an eye out for her ever-changing nail designs, which she uses as her creative outlet and often includes a sprinkling of glitter!
Madi Vellend

As a fully qualified Oral Health Therapist, Madi excels in both patient care and the administrative side of orthodontics, making her a versatile and invaluable member of our team.
When she's not helping patients or managing administrative tasks, Madi enjoys spending time with her friends and family or experimenting with new recipes.
