This is your first step! Dr Smith, our Specialist Orthodontist, will assess your teeth, discuss your options and create a customised treatment plan. Here’s what’s included:
Once you’ve decided to undergo orthodontic treatment, we’ll schedule a convenient time for you to come in for a 3D iTero scan. These digital images will be used to create all of the Invisalign® clear aligners you’ll use throughout treatment. This appointment lasts about 20 minutes.
For patients that have chosen one of our braces solutions, we’ll schedule a 40 minute appointment to fit you with your brackets and archwires. The appointment itself shouldn’t cause any pain, but you may be a bit tender while your teeth get accustomed to braces.
Regardless of the orthodontic treatment you receive, we’ll always advise you on how to properly care for your appliance and practice good dental hygiene with braces. We’ll answer any questions you have and make sure you feel confident about your care!
