How do LightForce™ braces work?

Your journey to a straighter smile starts with a state-of-the-art 3D scan of your teeth, gums, and jaw at our Auckland orthodontic practice. Using this digital model, Dr Rachel Smith carefully designs a fully customised LightForce™ braces treatment plan tailored to your unique smile.

Each LightForce™ bracket is 3D-printed to match your exact prescription, ensuring a precise and comfortable fit. These tooth-coloured brackets blend seamlessly with your smile for a more discreet look.

Once your braces are ready, we bond the brackets to your teeth and fit them with metal archwires and modules - which can be clear or coloured, depending on your preference.

Throughout your treatment, you’ll visit us every 6-8 weeks for adjustments. Dr Smith will make precise, expert-led tweaks to gently guide your teeth into alignment, helping you achieve a beautifully straight smile as efficiently as possible.
